There’s been a lot of speculation among Haitians this week about whether or not there is still a $1.50 fee on money transfers to Haiti.

Recently, Haitian radio personality GUY WEWE addressed this question on his radio show.

During his discussion on the topic, Guy briefly explained why the additional $1.50 fee is charged on money transfers to Haiti.

He also explains the process by which the 1.50 fee is actually collected in Haiti.
