Haiti Minimum Wage

The Haitian government has set the new minimum wage requirement for companies in the F, G & H segments to 500/440/440 Gourdes per day for eight (8) hours of work. – Haiti Minimum Wage 2022

Port-au-Prince News

The Haitian president strongly condemned the attack perpetrated against a mini-bus carrying passengers to the Champs de Mars in Port-au-Prince.

President Jovenel Moise will continue to work closely with PM Jean Michel Lapin to return a sense of peace and serenity to Haiti.

President Jovenel Moise also recently met with U.S SOUTHCOM Commander, Admiral Craig Faller and the US Ambassador to Haiti, Michèle Sison.

PAPEJ

50 of the 150 young entrepreneurs who were selected from among 3,000 who submitted projects to PAPEJ (Youth Entrepreneurship Support Program) received checks during an event held at the Haitian national palace.

Immigration

The USCIS will permanently close its field office in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Dec. 20, 2019. The office will remain open to the public and accept applications/petitions up until Nov. 29, 2019.
