Haitian farmers get boost from agricultural irrigation pump

President Jovenel Moise has announced the installation of a solar powered irrigation pump in Bonal, a communal section in Sous Chod, Answouj.

Due to limited rain fall in the region each year, farmers consistently struggled to keep their plants and crop fields properly irrigated.

The agricultural irrigation pump will hopefully help solve this issue for so many farmers in the region.

Commodity Prices

Referencing a law that dates back to March 9, 1995, with regard to the price of petroleum products in Haiti, President Jovenel Moise urged all relevant authorities to augment the price of kerosene and diesel downwards with respect to the drop in price observed for these commodities on the international market.

Emir of Qatar

The two primary spoke about the possibility of investing in renewable energies and strengthening ties between the two countries.
