9/6/20 – The 6th Edition of the Community Dialogue was held at the Haitian National Palace this past Sunday. During the event, President Jovenel Moise, along with other high ranking government officials, discussed several topics of national concern. Some of the key topics discussed centered around security and agriculture issues. VIDEO
9/4/20 – On Friday, Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe confirmed that he had met with the Minister of Commerce, the Governor of the BRH (Haiti’s Central Bank) and representatives from the private sector to discuss government measures being taken to ensure the pricing of business transactions in the country’s local Haitian Gourdes.
According to an announcement made by Haiti’s Prime Minister on his official twitter page, as of Monday, September 7, 2020, all traders and service providers are required to display the price of goods and services in Haitian gourdes.
Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe spoke at a press briefing to recap the nature of an important working meeting with different representatives from Haiti’s private sector business community. VIDEO
Haiti Electricity News
President Jovenel Moise announced the launch of work to strengthen the electricity network throughout the metropolitan area.
The improvements will be carried out by Ed’H (Haiti’s main electric utility provider) and the Taiwanese firm OECC.
The Director General of Ed’H, Michel Présumé, was also present for the announcement. VIDEO
NATCOM Celebrates 9th Anniversary in Haiti
9/7/2020 – Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe participates in the 9th Anniversary Celebration of Natcom, one of Haiti’s two largest telecommunications providers.
During the celebration, Natcom was also awarded a Plaque of Honor and Merit for it’s 9 Years of Community Service to the Haitian public. VIDEO

Dr. Gerard Jerry CHANDLER has been installed as the Director General of Civil Protection by the Haitian Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities.
