On Friday, February 17, 2023, the reigning Miss Haiti 2022, Mideline Phelizor, was officially recognized on stage at the 2023 Kanaval Block Party event at the Little Haiti Cultural Center in Miami, FL.
The Miss Universe beauty pageant contestant received a plaque from the Sounds of Little Haiti Kanaval event organizers for her fantastic finish in the top 16 of all pageant participants. She was also applauded for the way she gracefully represented Haiti’s rich culture to the world.
In addition, Ms. Phelizor was also named the guest of honor and queen of this year’s Little Haiti Kanaval block party event in Miami.
