On the special occasion of Haiti’s National Police force (PNH) celebrating its 27th anniversary in operation, the Minister of the Interior & Territorial Communities, Liszt Quitel, delivered an official statement.
In his statement, Minister Quitel specifically acknowledged that the PNH had been tested over the last several months and stressed the need for police officers to exhibit courage & determination in a bid to return the institution to its original glory.
The Interior minister also confirmed that the Haitian government would continue to work closely with the national police force to counter gang violence and strive to achieve the various mandates placed upon the institution. Mr. Quitel’s full statement can be read here.
Likewise, The Director General of the Haitian National Police, Frantz Elbé, also delivered an official statement to commemorate the special occasion.
