Sogebank Online Banking Experience Service Outage

Sogebank representatives discuss recent service outage on Le Point.

On February 18, 2022, Radio Tele Metropole’s Le Point invited two Sogebank representatives to come and discuss the recent service outage that left many of it’s customers unable to access some essential bank services.

The bank’s public relations representative Tatiana P. Bernadel & Chief Information Officer Michael Verch shared some details around the origin & scope of the outage in an effort to dispel any misinformation about what actually happened.

According to the bank’s technology representative, the company’s information systems began experiencing disruptions on or around February 10th and primarily affected certain online banking, ATM, card and POS services.
