Haiti’s Prime Minister, Dr. Ariel Henry, strongly condemned the assassination of Yvon Buissereth by armed gangs in the area of Laboule 12 on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Mr. Buissereth was a former Haitian Senator (Senateur du Sud) and is the current Director General of the Public Company for the Promotion of Social Housing (EPPLS).
Dr. Ariel Henry stated that the individuals responsible for this act would be prosecuted and would need to answer for their actions.
The prime minister also urged the Haitian National Police force to increase its efforts to track down bandits of all kinds.
